Yellow-bellied Sapsucker in Summit Twp. !!

Birders,

I was informed by Justin and Mariette Bortell that they have had a male Yellow-bellied Sapsucker at their Summit Township feeders off and on since January 14th. This is the 1st Winter Record of a YBSA in Mason County !! In addition, they also have a juvenile Red-winged Blackbird on occasion. The bitter cold and deeper snow cover is finally resulting in some amazing feeder birds of late.

Congrats to Justin and Mariette for an unprecedented record !
