SPRING & WINTER BIRD COUNT

Each May and December, members of the Sable Dunes Audubon Society participate in the Spring Migration and Christmas Bird Counts. Birders identify and count all birds seen in their designated area. The counts are tallied and then submitted to the National Audubon Society for their records. This information helps give a picture of the health of bird populations throughout the United States. Interested in participating? Contact us to get paired up with a group.
