On December 26, two Red-throated Loons were observed all day and photos were taken from the Loomis Street Boat Launch. The loons were located west of the boat launch, swimming and diving between the North and South Pier, presumably to be sheltered from the wind.
Hopefully, these rare loons will remain in the area for better photo opportunities!
