Fish Crow?!?!

Today, 4/29/2024, Benjamin Wilson reported seeing and hearing a Fish Crow on Ellis St in Ludington (Ellis St is off of Bryant road). These birds are rare in this part of the country. They are commonly found on the East Coast of the U.S. They are nearly impossible to distinguish from an American Crow by sight alone. You need to hear their unique call. The Call is simple. It is a very nasally cah or cah-ah. If you are in the area, be sure to keep your eyes and ears open. Birders in the area have reported Fish Crows throughout the years in Mason County, so this is not a first, but it definitely is rare!
