Birders,
This morning around 10:10 a.m. Brian Brosky saw an early swallow circling over Stearns Park beach by the old wave runner rental shack. He finally got an excellent photo of a Cliff Swallow that was nearly a month earlier than the previous early date of April 9, 2012. Because of the month-long gap, this amazing record is better described as an extra-seasonal spring record !
Also, Benjamin Wilson reports an Eastern Meadowlark that was heard and seen March 9th, whereas today there were several in the blueberry patch north of the Wilson's property in Sherman Township.
